Building Bridges Through Travel: Reflections from the Road
Building Bridges Through Travel
Reflections from the Road
If you know me, you know how much I love to travel. That passion has followed me throughout my personal life, and it’s deeply woven into the fabric of my work too.

Business trips have become a regular rhythm — especially in the world of superyachts and aircraft, where presence matters and relationships are everything. Whether it’s jetting off for a major yacht show (such as Monaco), heading to an aircraft exhibition (EBACE), or attending an industry conference, travel is more than just a part of the job — it’s an extension of how business gets done in this world.

Yes, it’s exciting. But it’s also intense. These events can mean early wake-up calls, long hours on your feet, and staying sharp from sunrise to well past midnight. One moment you’re at a boardroom table, the next you’re networking over champagne under the stars. And that’s exactly where the real work often begins.

Because in this business, deals aren’t always struck with a signature on a contract. They’re often born over dinner conversations, sealed with a shared laugh at an after-party, or built through the simple comfort of being in good company. There’s a kind of alchemy that happens when you mix passion, presence, and the right people in the same room — or on the same boat.
That’s why, despite the long days and late nights, I keep showing up. Every trip is an opportunity — not just to close a deal, but to open a door. To connect, to collaborate, and to keep building bridges.

Update 2025: Since writing this, I’ve embarked on a new chapter — working freelance under Asteria Advisory. These travels now carry a different weight, as I pursue them independently, not just for the business I’m building, but as part of my own personal journey. It’s a leap that feels both exciting and grounding, and I’m looking forward to discovering where the road (and sky) leads next.
